If you think that owning a first property at 26 is already impressive, meet Stewart Lim who owns two at 28. Coming from a low-income family and having to work since the age of 13, Stewart hopes to inspire more fellow Gen Y to come onboard the real estate business with his rags to riches story. He initially started doing part-time, and eventually earned a degree and became a full-time realtor when he realized how fulfilling the profession is.
Through his degree course and own experience over the 14 years that he has been in the industry, Stewart applies all that he has learnt to his client’s cases as well as his own portfolio. His constant improvement of the industry’s knowledge and skills in turn, elevates his family’s economic standing and quality of life. Instead of relying on a car to get him around for meetings, Stewart rather saves his money to invest in real estate, which was why he could add another property to his portfolio only two years after the first.
His motto in life is, “Age is just a number.
